Glown lets clients book their barber or the next free chair, takes the deposit upfront, keeps walk-ins on the same calendar, and works out each barber's commission as the cuts happen.
Glown is a free barbershop booking app built for Nigeria.
Clients book a specific barber or the next free chair through one link, pay a deposit or the full price in Naira, and get an automatic SMS and email reminder. Owners keep walk-ins on the same calendar, pay barbers on commission that calculates itself, and run more than one shop from a single dashboard. There is no monthly subscription. Glown charges 2% per booking, capped at ₦2,000.
A barbershop client comes back every two or three weeks, to the same barber, for the same cut. The software should already know that.
Rebooking is one tap
Last cut, last barber, next free matching slot. No back-and-forth needed.
Reminders before every slot
SMS and email go out automatically, so Saturday mornings stay full.
The split is never in dispute
Each barber's commission adds up as they work, visible to you and to them.
The three things a barbershop needs that a generic calendar app never handles.
Pick your barber
Clients either choose the barber they always sit with or take the next free chair. Both go into the same calendar, so a loyal client never loses their slot to a walk-in.
Walk-ins
Add a walk-in to the calendar as it happens and the rest of the day re-times itself. Your barbers see the queue on their phones instead of shouting across the shop.
Deposits
Take a deposit on bookings worth protecting, like Saturday mornings, full grooming packages and group bookings before a wedding, and stop losing the slot to someone who never shows.
One-tap rebook
Barbershop clients run on a cycle. Glown remembers the last cut and the last barber, so rebooking is one tap instead of a fresh conversation.
Chair commission
Set each barber's split and Glown adds it up as cuts are completed. At the end of the week the numbers are already there, with payslips if you want them.
More than one shop
Run every location from one dashboard, with clippers, blades and product stock tracked per shop and reports that show which chair earns.
01. Add your cuts and prices
Fade, line-up, beard trim, full grooming. Each with its real chair time.
02. Add your barbers
Set each barber's hours, services and commission split.
03. Share your link
Put it in your Instagram bio and WhatsApp status. Clients book a barber and pay.
