Glown books brides, parties and call-outs the way you actually work: a deposit before a date is held, travel charged by area, call times at any hour, and a glam team you can split the job with.
Glown is a free booking app built for Nigerian makeup artists.
It books a bride and her party as a single job with a realistic call time, holds a wedding date only once a deposit is paid, charges travel fees for home and venue call-outs, allows availability at any hour including 4am call times, and splits payment across a glam team. There is no monthly subscription. Glown charges 2% per booking, capped at ₦2,000.
Bridal work is agreed in DMs in March for a date in November. Between those two points, everything depends on whether that date was really held.
A date is held when it is paid
Deposit terms and a cancellation window the client agrees to before you block the day.
Travel priced and blocked
Call-out fees by area, with the journey kept off the rest of your schedule.
The trial notes come with you
Her look, her products and her skin notes sit on the record you open on the day.
The things a generic appointment app cannot express, and a makeup artist lives by.
Bridal & parties
Book a whole bridal party as one job, with each face adding its own time to the call. You see the real start time you need to be at the venue, not an optimistic guess.
Deposits
Hold a date only once a deposit has been paid. Balance rules and a cancellation window are agreed at booking, so a date blocked months in advance is a date you can count on.
Travel fees
Charge a call-out fee that reflects where you are going, and block the travel time around the job so a Lekki call at 5am does not collide with an Ikeja one at 9am.
Any hour
Set availability that matches how you actually work: early call times, late events, wedding-season Saturdays. No more fighting a nine-to-five template.
Trials
Book a trial and the main day together, keep the look and product notes from the trial on the client record, and turn up on the day already knowing the face.
Your glam team
Put more than one artist on a big job, and let Glown work out each artist's share as the work completes. No sorting it out over voice notes afterwards.
01. List your services
Soft glam, full glam, bridal, trials and party faces, each with its own time and price.
02. Set travel and deposit rules
Call-out fees by area, and what a client pays to hold a date.
03. Share your link
One link in your Instagram bio. Clients book, pay their deposit, and the date is yours.
